Artist's Comments
This deviation now requires explanation.
When I originally drew this I had found the reference photo in an online photo gallery, asked permission to use it & received permission. Since then it has been brought to my attention that this "photographer" was using stolen images from- [link] I would like to extend my sincere apologies to the family of Brandon Benson as I was truly unaware that this was his photograph. Had I known I would have most certainly asked permission before so much as picking up a pencil. I have many photographers that can vouch for my honesty. Unfortunately I cannot do anything regarding the poser photographer as the gallery no longer exists. I would like to believe this person has realized he was in the wrong & will not try posting stolen photos again in the future. I would also like to extend my condolences to Brandon's family as I have read of his passing. [link] If for any reason you would like me to remove this drawing I will do so post haste. Otherwise I will be keeping it here as a "Not for sale" sample of my work. |
